Liberty Style Building |
|
| The “Città Studi” district is located in the east of Milan and, as the name suggests, is the University district, home of the Polytechnic and several chemistry, biological and pharmaceuticals departments. The young atmosphere is everywhere: many students live in this area but you can also find many residential buildings plunged in the green of the streets. |

Detailed map of Città Studi area
In Città Studi area many of the buildings
are in Liberty style (built from 20’s to 40’s), full of asymmetrical, curvaceous designs based on organic inspiration (plants and flowers), built with materials as wrought iron, stained glass, tile, and hand-painted wallpaper.
You can visit also in this area the ‘Museo del Giocattolo e del Bambino’, dedicated to toys and children, located in Via Pitteri at the historic Milanese institute Martinitt e Stelline, whose collection encompasses over 2000 antique and modern toys from the 18th century until 1960s.
Art,architecture and culture are the characteristics of this area,a real oasis of peace in a sprightly city!
